After 20 years of practicing medicine, Dr. Rugo Focht has fulfilled her lifelong dream of opening her own practice.  The newly renovated office building at 28 Grafton Common has functioned as a physician's office for the past 200 years. Its ideal setting on the Grafton Common adds to its charm.

Barbara Rugo Focht, M.D., a pediatrician with over twenty years of experience. Dr. Rugo Focht's practice is built on a model of holistic care.  A child's physical, developmental, emotional, and spiritual needs are considered, while providing education, support, and parental advice. In contrast to the corporate approach to medicine, children and their families will be cared for in a personal, loving manner.

Dr. Rugo Focht received her M.D. from the Medical College of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia.  She did her pediatric residency training at Travis AFB in California. Following residency, she worked as a pediatrician for the U.S. Air Force in Turkey. Since 1997 Dr. Rugo Focht has been a practicing pediatrician in the Blackstone Valley.
